3. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data to:
- Provide and maintain the Service (account creation, authentication, quoting, transaction recording).
- Process transfer quotes and record confirmed transfers.
- Ensure security and prevent fraud (account protection, verification processes, and compliance checks where required).
- Communicate with users (e.g., transactional emails or notifications related to account activity).
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We may share data with trusted third parties as necessary to operate the Service:
- Payment / FX / KYC Providers: to facilitate transactions and comply with regulatory obligations.

- Email / Notification Providers: to send transactional communications.

We only share the minimum data necessary for these purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations.
- Account and transaction data may be retained for a minimum of 5 years to comply with financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and audit requirements.

7. SMS Communications and Consent
By checking the SMS consent checkbox during registration and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Cheetah by Datalink Analytix for authentication and account verification purposes.
Opt-In Method
Consent is collected through an explicit, separate checkbox on the registration form (web and mobile app). The checkbox is labeled:
"I agree to receive SMS messages from Cheetah at the phone number provided for account security and login verification. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
You must check this box to create an account. An SMS opt-in confirmation message is sent immediately upon registration.
Message Types and Frequency
- Messages include one-time passcodes (OTP) required to securely access your account.
- Messages are sent only in response to user-initiated actions such as login or verification requests.
- No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
- Message frequency varies based on user activity (typically 1–5 messages per month).
- Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
Opt-Out (STOP)
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from Cheetah. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. Opting out may prevent you from using SMS-based two-factor authentication; email-based OTP will be used as a fallback.
Help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for support information. You will receive a reply with contact details: [email protected].
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
